The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to support the efforts of Rotary International in the fulfillment of the Object of Rotary, Rotary's mission, and the achievement of world understanding and peace through local, national, and international humanitarian, educational, and cultural programs. The Rotary Foundation slogan is "Every Rotarian, Every Year." If you are already a Paul Harris Fellow, Rotary wants you to continue giving at least $100 per year. If you are not, then become a Sustaining Member by giving $100 per year for 10 years and become a Paul Harris Fellow (of course it can be given sooner or all at once). A Paul Harris Fellow is someone who contributes or in whose name is contributed, US $1000.00.They do not have to be a Rotarian. This is one of the most meaningful ways an individual can be honored in the world of Rotary. The Abilene Southwest Rotary Club enjoys honoring leading citizens in the Abilene area by making them Paul Harris Fellows.
